BAPTISM

 

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church on Wednesday 13th September at 7.30pm

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Chaplet of Divine Mercy continues here each Monday & Thursday from 2pm – 3pm

Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group

 

The Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group meet in the Church every Friday;

6pm – 8pm



Family Mass

 

The Family Mass will begin again in September on Sunday’s at 10:30am.

Adult volunteers are needed to support these Masses, if you would like to get involved, please give your contact details to one of the Parish team after Mass or call in to the Parish Office.

 



Children’s Choir

 

The Children’s Choir invites children aged 8+ to join. Please give your contact details to one of the parish team after Mass or call in to the Parish Office.

 



Knock Shrine

 

Annual Grandparents Day at Knock

 

Annual Grandparents Day will be celebrated in Knock on Sunday 10th Sept; 12noon to 4:30pm.

There is a bus leaving 

St. Mary’s Church layby 

at 9am

Pilgrimage to Knock

 

We are planning on running a one-day Parish Pilgrimage to Knock on Saturday 30th September Cost for bus €20.

Young at Heart

 

The Young at Heart club will restart their weekly meetings here on Thursday 7th September from 2pm to 4pm.

 

New Members Welcome



YOUTH CLUB 

 

A new community based youth club was launched recently in Ballyowen Community Centre (near Lidl). This youth group is for the young people of this area and is supported by Foroige.

The group is looking for adult volunteers who will receive training & will then be Garda Vetted.

Divine Mercy Food Action

There is ongoing need in the Parish for the food bank. We continue to appeal to those who can afford it, to donate non-perishable food whenever they can.

Child Protection

 

Volunteers in the parish are invited to seek or renew their Garda vetting.  

All our volunteers MUST be vetted every three years.  There are forms available at the back of the church.  If you need any assistance, please call into the parish office.

The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service are looking for volunteers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in St. James;

The Mater; Tallaght & Connolly Hospitals.
