Confirmation

Congratulations to the young people from all our parish schools who were Confirmed here over the last few weeks.

Grateful thanks to parents, guardians, teachers and all who helped them prepare for the Sacrament.  


First Holy Communion

Well done to the children in all our parish schools who received their First Holy Communion over the past month. Thank you to their parents & guardians and especially their very dedicated teachers.

 

We look forward to seeing them at Mass on a regular basis.


SCOUTS

The 180th Lucan South, Scouts will hold a bucket collection after all Masses next week-end. This collection is to help the Scouts refurbish their new home – The Bush Centre.

Please support this great community group.


 

BAPTISM

 

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church on Wednesday 14th June at 7.30pm


 

Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group

 

There is a Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group meeting in the Church every Friday; 6pm – 8pm

St Charles of Mount Argus Canonisation Anniversary

 

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the canonisation of St Charles of Mount Argus, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will celebrate Mass in St Paul of the Cross Church, Mount Argus, this Pentecost Sunday, 4th June, at 11.00 am.

Legion of Mary

 

A member of the Legion of Mary will address the congregation briefly at all Masses on the week-end of 17th / 18th June and will be available after Mass to talk to anyone interested in joining their group.


 

Family Mass

 

There is a Family Mass here at 10.30am each Sunday. We would encourage families with young children to come along to this Mass as often as possible as it is very child focused.

 


 

 

SICK & HOMEBOUND

 

Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.

Volunteers in the parish are invited to seek or renew their Garda vetting.  All our volunteers MUST be vetted every three years.  There are forms available at the back of the church.  If you need any assistance please call into the parish office.
