Parish Finances

Many thanks to the Pastoral Council and Finance Committee who presented an update on the Parish Finances last week-end.  As reported the parish finances are in a difficult state.  Grateful thanks to all who responded by filling out standing order forms (copies available at the back of the Church) or by donating through the envelopes. Your support is much appreciated and vital in keeping our Parish going.

Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.  Contact:  Fr. Éamonn

To begin the Holy Year of Mercy, announced recently by Pope Francis, we will hold an all-night vigil with Mass, prayer, confessions and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The vigil will begin at 10pm on Monday 7th December and end with 10am Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday 8th December.

The next Baptism meeting will take place in the Church on Wednesday 9th December at 7.30pm

Altar List of the Dead

The Altar list of the Dead is a wonderful way to remember our loved ones who have died.

Mass will be offered on the first Friday of every month for the happy repose of their souls. November lists and envelopes are available at the back of the church.

We would like to draw your attention to the new titles available on the Lighthouse Catholic Media stand. There are CD’s of inspirational stories of conversion & teaching regarding the Catholic faith.

Youth Pilgrimage to Knock

Calling all young people between 15-25 years. Our Youth Group is running a pilgrimage to Knock on Saturday 12th December just for you ! Departing from the Church at 7am. Book early as numbers are limited. Cost €5

We are delighted to say that there is a Family Mass here at 10.30am each Sunday.

We would encourage families, especially those with young children to come along to this Mass as often as possible as it is very child focused.

Parish volunteers who are engaged in activities that include children must be Garda vetted.  If you haven’t yet completed the necessary form please do so as soon as possible and return it to Fr. Eamonn.

Other volunteers within the parish are welcome to seek Garda vetting.  Forms are available from the Parish Office or from

For the benefit of all families who use the Family Room during Mass, parents are reminded to supervise their children and to please tidy up the toys afterwards.

Many people have asked if they could remember their deceased loved ones by placing a Brass Plate on a Church bench.

We are now in a position to provide this service. The cost per dedicated Plate will be €250. This includes the cost of a high quality Brass Plate and a donation to the Church. All enquiries to the Parish Office.
