August rotas for Eucharistic Ministers & Ministers of the word are available at the back of the Church.
Feast of the Assumption

This Wednesday, 15th August, is the Feast of the Assumption and a Holy Day of Obligation to attend Mass. Masses will be at 9:15am and 7:00pm.

Phoenix Park Mass

The bus to the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park is now fully booked. We will announce the departure time as soon as we have this information.

WMOF 2018 Icon

Thank you to everyone who joined in our celebration of the World Meeting of Families Icon in St Patrick’s Church this weekend.
The Icon departs on its journey at 1:30pm this Sunday.


The Youth Choir will continue to practice and perform thought the summer.
The children’s choir and the adult’s choir are taking a well-earned break and will resume practice in September.


The Parish office will be closed for the next two weeks and will re-open on Monday 27th August. Mass cards / intentions can be arranged at the Sacristy.

Due to the Papal Mass taking place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th August there will be no 12:00 noon Mass here on that day.

Live Broadcast
Papal Mass

St Patrick’s Church, Esker will broadcast the Papal Mass live in the Church, on Sunday 26th August for any parishioner who does not feel able to attend the Phoenix Park.
The Consecration will be celebrated and Holy Communion distributed alongside the live broadcast and this will fulfil your Sunday obligation.

The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service is in need of volunteers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in St. James;
The Mater; Tallaght & St. Vincent’s Hospitals.

The Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group meet in the Church every Friday;
6pm – 8pm

Gluten free hosts are available for anyone with coeliac condition or on a gluten free diet, please speak to the priest before Mass.
