Welcome !

We would like to welcome two new priests to the Parish team; Fr Dominic and Fr Ubaldo arrived this week from Uganda. We hope you will all get to know them and make them feel very welcome. ________________________________________


Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church on Wednesday 14th November at 7.30pm


The parish choirs’ practice in the Church every week.

Altar List of the Dead

The Altar list of the Dead is a wonderful way to remember our loved ones who have died.
Mass will be offered on the first Friday of every month for the happy repose of their souls. November lists and envelopes are available at the back of the church.


For any parents & guardians of children now in 6th class, preparing for Confirmation, who missed the Registration meeting; please call to the Parish Office as soon as possible to register your child.

We have just begun a “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults” course, for adults who wish to be Baptised and admitted into the Catholic Church. If you are interested or know someone else who might be interested please contact one of the Parish team. ________________________________________


Training Opportunities

Ronanstown Community Training and Education Centre, based in Rossecourt are offering training courses for young school leavers and unemployed persons aged between 15 – 21 years.

Day of Reflection

In the aftermath of the visit of Pope Francis to Ireland; St Patrick’s Parish are holding a ‘Day of Reflection’ in Spa Hotel, Lucan on Saturday 17th November. See notice boards for details.


W.M.O.F. National Collection
The WMOF2018 final National Collection will take place in all parishes next weekend Saturday 10th / Sunday 11th November. This will replace the Share Collection.

Divine Mercy Food Action
There is ongoing need in the Parish for the food bank. We continue to appeal to those who can afford it, to donate non-perishable food whenever they can.

Family Mass
The Family Mass takes place here each Sunday at 10:30am.

Irish Cancer Society

The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service needs volunteers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in St. James;
The Mater; Tallaght & St. Vincent’s Hospitals.

Altar Server Ministry

We are currently recruiting new members for our Altar server team. Anyone with children who are interested in joining this ministry should please leave their contact details with one of the parish team after Mass or call to the parish office.
Training takes place in the Church every Saturday at 3.30pm.

Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group

The Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group meet in the Church every Friday;
6pm – 8pm


Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Chaplet of Divine Mercy takes place here each Monday & Thursday; 2pm – 3pm
