Birthday Cards for Jesus

We are inviting all the children in the parish to make a birthday card for Baby Jesus. These cards can be placed at the Christmas tree at the Christmas Eve Family Mass.


The next Baptism meeting will take place in the Church this Wednesday 5th Dec at 7.30pm


There is an important meeting for all individuals and groups holding keys to the church this Monday 3rd December at 7:30pm.
If you hold a key, please ensure that you or a representative of your group is available to attend.


There will be a meeting for ALL Eucharistic Ministers and Readers (including weekday Ministers) in the Church on Monday 10th December at 7.30pm
We need to draw up a new list and do some refresher training.
December rotas are at the back of the Church.

Christmas Concert

The Choirs of the Parish and from the primary schools will perform a concert of Christmas music here in the Church on Wednesday 12th December at 7pm

Parish Finances

We had a great response to our Financial Presentation last weekend and we are very grateful to all who contribute to the parish through the yellow envelopes or by Standing Order.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Saturday next; 8th of December is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, and a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be at 10am.

Advent Candles
Advent Candles for use in the home are available from the Parish Office or the Sacristy, cost €10
(per set of 6)

Altar List of the Dead

Mass will be offered on the first Friday of every month for the happy repose of the souls of all those on the Altar list of the dead. Lists and envelopes are still available at the back of the church.


St Vincent de Paul

The Annual Christmas Appeal by St Vincent de Paul takes place at all Masses next week-end.
As they say - ‘Christmas is not the same for everyone’


10am Mass on Saturday mornings has been reintroduced. Confessions are now available after this Mass.
We are looking for two volunteers to help with running the Children’s and Youth Choirs.

Christmas Mass Bouquet cards will be available this week in the Parish office. All Masses on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day will be offered for the intentions of those on our Mass Bouquet list.
