Our Church has reopened for mass and it is wonderful to hear the responses coming back from parishioners during mass instead of the empty silence since our doors were closed. We had hoped that on 20th July the restrictions would be lifted to allow us more than 50 people inside the Main Church however this is not unfortunately possible at this time.
Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin has asked parishioners to note that the use of face coverings is “strongly recommended for indoor settings”.
The safety of all our Church users is our primary concern and we also have plans in place to maximise the use of our Church. We are so fortunate to have the side chapel and the family room which have their own entrance/exit doors and allow us to safely sit family groups together while also maintaining 2 meter distance from other groups.
Weather permitting we can also sit people on chairs in the courtyard by the main doors as we have outdoor speakers to allow people to hear and open doors to allow people to see the altar.
If you are unable to get a seat in the Church at the weekend you can watch the mass via our website Live Stream or consider joining us at a week day mass.
Thank you so much for your understanding, patience and prayers as we navigate our way with the grace of God.
