Travelling Monstrance for Vocations – Blessed by Pope St John Paul II
St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown, next Monday 18th November
A special monstrance, one of six that were blessed by Pope John Paul II on November 24, 2004, for the purpose of praying for an increase in vocations, is being brought to Ireland and will be visiting 12 dioceses around Ireland between Monday, November 18, and Friday, November 29.
The monstrance will be in St Patrick’s Church in Monkstown next Monday and will be available for Adoration between 2:30pm and 5pm and then later that evening for a Holy Hour from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
We encourage as many people as possible who can find the time to visit St Patrick’s, Monkstown, to pray for an increase in vocations in the Archdiocese of Dublin, either for a short period in the afternoon or for the Holy Hour and Benediction later that evening at 7:30pm.
